A New Build, 5 Bedroom, Award Wining Eco Luxury Holiday Home With An Extensive Range Of Technology Solutions.
This Luxury Eco Holiday Home is O.S Electricals' flagship installation of 2013/14. The technical specification of this installation far outweighs the average domestic installation and is more of a commercial project due to the various technologies incorporated;
On the roof is a 3 Phase 10kW Solar P.V Installation generating three times the average amount of electricity from a domestic install. This installation, a collaboration between www.GB-Sol.co.uk and O.S Electrical, won the Solar Power Portal Awards For Domestic Installation 2013.
The heating system comprises three Mechanical Ventilation & Heat Recovery units, one for each floor, maintaining a constant comfortable living temperature. Accompanying this was an Air Source Heat Pump to recover Hot air from the Swimming Pool; both systems in turn heat the Hot Water, Swimming Pool and Hot Tub.
Due to the size and use of the property it was decided that a wiring infrastructure capable of supplying Multi-Room Sky HD to all three Living Spaces, Cinema Room and all 5 Bedrooms was necessary.
A dedicated 5.1 HD Cinema Room is the main media attraction in the house. It has a full 1080p Projector, Blu Ray Player, 5.1 Surround Sound System and Sonos Multi Room Audio System.
A 3 Room Sonos Audio System was installed in the Lounge, Indoor Swimming Pool and Cinema Room allowing the same or different music in all rooms at the same time. The music was streamed from a Terabyte NAS Storage drive while also being able to access DAB Radio or Streaming services such as Spotify due to the Gigabit Data Network and BT Infinity Broadband.
Due to the size and scope of the property a Gigabit Wired Data & WiFi Network was installed in almost all rooms using Cat6a data cable and WiFi repeaters. This has enabled the reliable and high bandwidth connection of all the media devices in the house from Smart TVs, Sky HD boxes, Sonos Music Players, Blu Ray Players, NAS Hard Drive and the necessary WiFi repeaters on each floor giving the guests unparalleled access to the outside world and the technologies within the property.
BT Infinity Fibre Optic Broadband was installed to help future proof the media installation and to provide high bandwidth Internet for the various Internet enabled devices in the property.
An Indoor Swimming Pool with a Swim Jet Water Pump to enable swimmers to swim without having to turn around at each length was installed. On top of this an Integrated Infinity style Hot Tub was included. All this with a wireless Sonos Audio System, Waterproof In-Ceiling speakers and unlimited access to the world of music helps you relax in the beautifully lit spa area.
